The History of Casella

Manufacturing instruments that reduce occupational risk

About Casella

Casella prides itself on having provided precision instrumentation since 1799, supplying eminent figures including David Livingstone and Charles Darwin with instrumentation for their exploration and scientific work.

As you would imagine, Casella has changed significantly over these two centuries, but remains perfectly placed to offer reliable, trust worthy and credible solutions for Occupational and Environmental monitoring of noise and dust, with over 40 years of innovation in noise and 60 years in dust measurement.

In a move to meet increasing demands in India and to build further on its existing Indian customer base, IDEAL Industries Inc opened an office in India in 2012 with the purpose of distributing Casella products and sharing the message of 'treating health like safety'.

The business has grown over time to become a key business unit, offering Casella products and expertise into the South Asian market.
