Casella Showcases Commitment to Clean Air at Contamination Expo Series 

Casella, a leading UK manufacturer of environmental monitoring solutions, will be showcasing its commitment to comprehensive personal and environmental monitoring solutions at Contamination Expo Series, 11th – 12th September at the NEC, Birmingham on stand H67. 

Contamination Expo Series’ ‘Clean Air Technology Expo’, which is supported by the Environment Agency, is one of seven specialist shows designed to showcase cutting edge technology to further the prevention, detection and management of airborne pollutants. Casella’s forward-thinking solutions are a natural fit for the exhibition.

Casella’s innovative monitoring products are dedicated to reducing occupational and environmental health risks, including those caused by air pollutants.

Casella will be showcasing a range of its products focused on air quality monitoring, including the Guardian2, which earlier this year was presented with Environmental Protection Magazine’s ‘New Product of the Year Award’ in the Air Pollution Control category. The award recognises the Guardian2’s unique position in the market as a complete solution, combining real-time dust, noise and vibration sensors. It also offers an optional photoionization detector (PID) that measures for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The Guardian2 is a small, lightweight and cost-effective solution to boundary monitoring.

The unit features ‘plug in and play’ installation and operation, needing no further interaction once set up, and offers automated reporting on emission limits via email or text message. The Guardian2 has been designed to help make lives easier by reducing ‘hands-on’ contact time, increasing efficiency.

An additional focus throughout the weekend will be the Dust Detective, a solution optimised for short-term boundary and environmental monitoring in both indoor and outdoor environments. With a battery life of up to 12 hours, the lightweight, portable unit combines the Microdust Pro real-time monitor and Apex2 air-sampling pump in one convenient quick-release casing. Easily downloadable analysis reports allow site operators, managers and occupational hygienists to identify trends in on-site dust levels and act on areas of concern before they become a health hazard.
